Entrance Requirements

To study Psychology at A Level, students should obtain at least 5 GCSE Grades 9 – 4 to include Grade 5 or above in Maths, Science and all English subjects entered.

As with all A Level subjects, students must be prepared to carry out a considerable amount of private study and attend support sessions when appropriate.

How is the course assessed?

At A-level there are three exams, each account for one third of your A Level. The three exams last 2 hours and are worth 96 marks each. The exams consist of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions.

What equipment will I need?

It would be beneficial to have a copy of the core textbook.
